The Bank

The Delaware County Bank & Trust (later referred to as The Bank) is a full service community bank offering a wide range of banking solutions to the residents of Central Ohio. The Bank is the largest financial institution headquartered in Delaware County and operates fifteen banking center locations in Delaware, Union and Franklin counties.

Lucky number 7

As a local bank actively serving local residents - The Bank spreads the goodness of the number 7 through a series of promotional offers for current and potential customers.  For example, those interested can lock in a credit rate of 7% APR for all of 2007, a home equity loan rate of 7.09% APR for up to 120 months, or open a new Smart Checking account and receive $70! Lucky.

Interruption

In order to communicate the new service offerings in a unique, eye-catching way - the Kernacopia team funneled our creative energy into answering the question, “How do we make 7 sensational?”  At the same time, we aimed to interrupt typical bank promotional collateral with something…sassy and compelling.

Black & Orange Cat

Kernacopia designers joined forces to create a look for this campaign that is as clear as clear can be.  The look incorporates the DCB Reflex Blue and gold with an obnoxiously large 7%.  If we were to use four words to describe the final piece, we would say clean, professional, bold and crystal clear (okay - that was five words…which is why Kernacopia is not a bank).

So…what happened?

Well, within three weeks of project launch - The Bank had their 22" x 28" poster and accompanying take-one brochure in full-swing.

As for Kernacopia, we sit back and enjoy the comforting thought of yet another satisfied customer. Mission accomplished.
